MIGRATORY REQUIREMENTS FOR SPORT PERSONS, ARTISTS AND JOURNALISTS

A) SPORT PERSONS AND ARTISTS
• Usually the companies or event organizers in Mexico file the application before the pertaining authorities (Instituto Nacional de Migración) on behalf of the visitor(s). The Consulate suggests an early application in order to avoid stressing situations.
• The Consulate issues the corresponding permit or migratory form once the authorization is received from Mexico. The visitor must bring his/her passport in person. Depending on the case, 2 passport size photos might be required as well as the payment of consular fees.
Processing time at the Consulate: two business days.

B) JOURNALISTS
• The application should be filed at the Consulate by the visitor. Usually it takes two business days to process the corresponding permit, which is granted free of charge. Please inquire for further information
