REQUIREMENTS FOR FOREIGNERS PLANNING TO RETIRE IN MEXICO

A) Valid passport.

B) Documentary proof of permanent source of monthly income from abroad, in an amount of U. S. $1,000.00 as minimum for the head of the household and $500.00 for each member of the family (in this case, copies of the marriage and birth certificates are also required).

C) Certificate of no criminal records, issued by proper authorities at the last place of residence.

D) Two photographs, passport-size.

E) Application form, submitted in person.

F) Payment of consular fees for the visa and the migratory document (FM3)
