NeuroticPlayground, Symptoms of Distress, Tension and Irritability, is the title of the first cultural exchange project between Kunsthaus Santa Fe, Mexico, and Red Head Gallery, Toronto.
The Red Head Gallery initiated a collaboration with the contemporary art gallery Kunsthaus Santa Fe to create an exchange between the two venues. Kunsthaus Santa Fe has been invited to exhibit a selection of their artists in NeuroticPlayground.
The Mexican artists attending are: Ana Quiroz, Daniela Edburg, Leonardo Ramírez, Liliam Domínguez, Lothar Müller, Rafael Rodríguez, Rocío Gordillo, Tania Candiani and Oscar Aguirre.

NeuroticPlayground opens on July 2, 08 at 7pm and runs through to August 9, 2008. Artists talk July 2, 6 pm. Performances by Lo Bil and Pam Patterson July 3, 7 pm.
In turn, artists from the Redhead Gallery will travel to Mexico in February 2009 to exhibit their work at Kunsthaus’ location in San Miguel de Allende, in an exhibition entitled Deviant Detours.
Kunsthaus Santa Fe is an unusual yet renowned space for contemporary art in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. After ten years of continuous work for the diffusion of contemporary art in Mexico and around the world, Kunsthaus has achieved a reputation of artistic relevance within both Mexican and foreign countries.
The Red Head Centre for the Visual Arts was founded in 1990 as a collective of 17 Toronto and area artists. The gallery was established in response to the increasingly limited availability of exhibition space in Toronto.
